'Help For Heroes' Charity Event
The GTI is organising a TKD charity event on Saturday 11th Sept in Gloucester to help raise funds for the 'Help for Heroes' charity which supports the rehabilitation of injured armed forces personal.
The event will take place at St. Peter's High School, Stroud Rd., Tuffley, Gloucester GL4 0DE at 3.30pm and it also open to non-GTI TKD practitioners whose participation would be most welcome. Take part in either a set amount of one-minute rounds of sparring, or the same amount of time performing your TKD patterns, or a mix of both.

2010 North London Taekwondo Tournament
We have the pleasure in inviting all all Taekwondo practitioners to the
2010 North London Taekwondo Tournament in London on
Sunday 26th September. There will be both point-stop and continuous sparring categories, and patterns competition.
The venue is the Gladesmore Sports Centre, Crowland Rd, London, N15 6EB. Doors Open from 10 am. Entry £15 for all, (2 free spectetators per entrant)

Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Sunday 18th April. The meeting will take place 1.00p.m – 3.00p.m. and will be held in the South Midlands area, (awaiting venue confirmation).
If you have a formal proposal to add to the agenda then please e-mail, post, or fax the details; to reach Master Cockburn no later than Thursday 1st April. Formal wear for this occasion please, so GTI tie, blazer, etc., to be worn. A buffet lunch will be provided.
Prior to the AGM there will be a training session specifically for Instructors, and after the meeting a Red & Black Belt training session will be available,

GTI English Championships 2010
We have pleasure in inviting you to our first competition of the year; the
GTI English Championships in Cheltenham on Sunday 28th February. This will be held at the Leisure @ Cheltenham Sports Centre. White GTI uniforms only please for this event. As normal there will be both point-stop and continuous sparring categories, patterns, board breaking and a high jumping front kick competition.
Other news is that the Committee has decided to open our 2010 Black Belt Competitor of the Year Awards to other associations. The awards for 2009 will also be presented at this event.
The G.T.I is resumed the service of providing Enhanced
Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checks for instructors and assistant instructors. Contact Master Cockburn for information
